Workshop Session for Programmes under the School of Building Technology Services, IBTE
18 April 2024 - A total of 46 students and instructors from the Brunei Institute of Technical Education (IBTE) Nakhoda Ragam Campus attended a talk on Wawasan Brunei 2035 and the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs). The talk, conducted by the Wawasan Brunei Office (PWB), Prime Minister’s Office (JPM), was held in the East Wing Room of JPM.
The event began with a talk on Wawasan Brunei 2035, where Hjh Siti Khadijah binti DPS Hj Abd Rahman, Special Duties Officer Grade II provided a comprehensive overview of the country’s development to date, the implementation of initiatives, and the involvement of various parties, including government sectors, the private sector, non-governmental organisations, and the public, in contributing to the realisation of the National Vision.
Meanwhile, SDG addressed the functions and roles of the SDGs in the context of Brunei Darussalam during the talk.
The students, who are part of the HNTec in Real Estate Management and Agency and HNTec in Geomatics programs from the School of Building Technology Services, participated in this visit to gain extensive exposure to efforts aimed at enhancing national productivity in terms of infrastructure and other measures to achieve the National Vision.
